What is a homeopathic consultation like?

Homeopathic consultations are conducted by telephone, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, or in person. An initial consultation lasts about one hour, though sometimes it can take more time for a very complicated case.  I will ask for a detailed account of your health history, as well as your current symptoms. You can expect a lot of questions. I ask for patience, honesty, and openness so I can provide the best care. Consultations for children are done in the same way. I will encourage them to share and explain what they are feeling in their own words. Parent, guardian and family member observations are appreciated in the overall case.

Follow up evaluations

Follow up evaluations are done either in person or over the phone. They are scheduled approximately one month after the initial consultation; and thereafter, as needed.  Typically, I ask you to check in with me on how you are doing within the first week or two after taking the remedy, or if there are any questions and/or concerns that you have.  As the layers of past trauma and/or illnesses are lifted, one at a time, a new picture usually develops.  Follow up evaluations give me the information I need to determine if and when a new remedy is needed to continue your healing process.  

How many times will I need to have homeopathic services?

Just as symptoms vary from person to person, the frequency and length of homeopathic services vary from person to person. Homeopathy is individualized medicine. A straightforward case (when we are able to catch symptoms in the early stages) may require two or three visits spread out over a few months. More complicated cases may require several visits over a shorter period of time.

How much does it cost?

The cost of services for office visits and telephone consultations are based on the length of time needed for each individual. I offer brief telephone consultations at no cost.
